Lets enjoy a cuppa together at your favourite coffee shop/cafe and discuss a range of birth prep topics. This session is perfect for those who may be early in their pregnancy, but would like to start thinking about their birth wishes, you know, 'organise your thoughts'. Or maybe you have given birth before, but might need a bit of a refresher and/or want to explore other options available for your next birth. 

These topics may include (but not limited to):

• Discussing your ideal birth experience/wishes 
• Discussing and working through any fears or concerns (you or your partners)
• Debrief previous birth/s (if applicable)

Following this session, you will receive Your Mini Birth Mindset Guide which will contain:

• Your version of what you (and your partner) feel is a positive birth (based on words/visions you have given me). Sometimes it's super helpful to see it all written down.
• What you need from yourself, your support person/s and your healthcare provider/s
• A fear releasing (if any) and ways to overcome customised plan

You will also receive: 

• A hot/cold beverage of choice 
• Complimentary handouts including hospital bag checklist, support person/s tips, birth affirmation cards, visualisation/mindset exercises and labour and birth top tips 
• A birth prep gift 

1.5 hour mini sessions available. Phone/Zoom consults also available.

This package may be suited to those who have already given birth before, but may want to explore other options for their next birth or gain some more knowledge surrounding labour/birth and postpartum. Your Doula Teeks is someone you can talk to in between antenatal appointments. A sounding board, a birth prep coach and the extra encouragement you may need (or didn't know you needed). 

This package includes:

1 x 3 hour session (this can be split into 2 x 1.5 hour sessions). During your obligation free chat beforehand, we can briefly discuss your desires so that our session together is tailored to your needs. It's ok if you don't quite know these as yet, our session together will help explore them. 

On top of getting to know you and your partner better (should you have one), they can consist of (but are not limited to) any of the following:

• Discussing your ideal birth experience/wishes 
• Discussing and working through any fears or concerns (you or your partners)
• Discussing and practicing comfort techniques 
• Discussing the stages and phases of labour 
• Creating a birth wish list 
• Self care reminder worksheets/activities 
• Complimentary handouts including hospital bag checklist, support person/s tips, visualisation/mindset exercises and labour and birth top tips   

Following this session, you will receive Your Mini Birth Mindset Guide which will contain:

If this is your first pregnancy, this package may be for you. Do you have an idea of what type of birth you would like, but just need some guidance and extra support figuring it all out? The 'filler' of support between antenatal appointments with your healthcare provider/s. Or maybe your partner/support person is wanting to know more about how they can support you during your pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period.  

This package includes:

Birth Preparation 

2 x 2 hour sessions. During your obligation free chat beforehand, we can briefly discuss your desires so that our session together is tailored to your needs. It's ok if you don't quite know these as yet, our session together will help explore them. 

On top of getting to know you and your partner better (should you have one), they can consist of (but are not limited to) any of the following in any order you choose:

• Discussing your pregnancy, how you are feeling and what to expect over the coming months
• Discussing your ideal birth experience/wishes 
• Discussing and working through any fears or concerns (you or your partners)
• Discussing and practicing comfort techniques 
• Discussing the stages and phases of labour 
• Creating a birth wishlist and postpartum plan 
• Self care reminder worksheets/activities 
• Customised affirmations (these will be printed on cards for you)

Postpartum Support

1 x postpartum visit is also included in your selected services (approximately 2 hours). I don't like to rush this time as this is an extremely important time both physically and emotionally. 

Do you only want to debrief your birth over a cuppa? Great! 

Would you like me to help with a few things around the house or hold bub while you enjoy a hot shower? Even better! 

During this visit, I can also (but am not limited to): 

• Check on infant feeding progress (should you choose to breastfeed or bottle feed) 
• Discuss questions or concerns and provide you with evidence based research and resources (including local contacts)
• Assist with some light housework and tidying (get things back in order) 
• Care for baby while you shower or sleep 
• Assist with anything you feel will help you settle in and feel supported in the postpartum period
• Bring you some refreshments and a goodie bag (of course!) 

This visit will be arranged following your birth. Please notify me when you have delivered your bundle of joy (but, lets be real...we will totally be chatting beforehand).
